This app starts out by telling me to go to the App Store to download the newest version. It is the newest version. I downloaded RCAF Today. This app will only display in portrait mode, refusing to allow landscape. It also crashes at the same page every time I try to read it.
Very nice and now I receive all three of my major helicopter magazine subscriptions via the iPad! Thank you for finally completing a helicopters pilots puzzle of iPad magazines:)
When I try to download an issue, it stops right before and says I need to upgrade the app in order to read the issue. Problem is, theres no upgrade. Stalemate!
I have installed and uninstalled this app several times over the last 2 months but still have issues. Download it and then it immediately requires an update which you cant get, have had many different issues downloading the magazine too. The lack of being able to get the update may be causing the issues but i cant ever get the update. This is unfortunate because the content is so good, love the magazine but not the app.
I receive an email notification that the new issue is out and its nowhere to be found on the app. When it does appear it takes forever to download (not because of my Internet but because of the ridiculous size of the files). I tried downloading the latest issue and just as it finished processing, the app crashed and wouldnt restart. I had to delete the app and re-download the latest issue. On top of that I lost all of the other issues I had previously downloaded. Again I love the magazine but the app is terrible...absolutely terrible.
